Helping local children understand where our electricity comes from
As part of Rawdon St Peter's primary schools 2013 Sustainable Energy Project, Energery Plus Management have arranged
for children in Year 5 and Year 6 to visit Drax power station in North Yorkshire.
Drax is the largest, cleanest and most efficient coal-fired power plant in the UK.
It is currently transforming into a predominantly biomass-fuelled power station.
